On A Roll

Thought this wouldn't be ready to give away down at Mum's this weekend, but I managed to threaten the sewing machine into submission, and it's all done.

The pattern - like those on earlier posts, comes compliments of the talented Astri, over at Apple Blossom Dreams blog (welcome to my band of followers, Astri!)

The crochet front sits over a Cath K-type fabric that I made into an envelope fold-over, with the scallop  peeping out over the edge.

I couldn't wait to start this new Baby Kina - the pattern is for 3-18 month sizes but I've adjusted it twice now, once to fit the gorgeous Evie Rebekah who arrived at the weekend

and now for a 2.5 year old young lady.  This pic doesn't do the yarn justice - it is actually a wonderful
acid apple green. I've got an idea for a motif for the front, and will show you if it works.

Off out now, for a curry with friends.  Catch you later, Chris x

  1. Very nice Chris - I posted your photos on my CAL page. Your projects are so pretty and this pillow with the envelope fabric backing is just lovely! Can't wait to see the little apple green project. Thank you for the kind words, it means a lot to me.

  2. Hey, guess what? You've just been nominated for the Liebster Award. Nip over to With U in Mind for the post :)
