Friday Smiles

My reason for smiling this morning has got to be - being able to throw open the garden doors at 7am, letting in birdsong and the warm sunshine. After a cuppa, I dashed out to capture these, to share these with you

Notice I haven't taken any of the couch grass and dandelions, or the grass cuttings waiting patiently for me to rake them up!

See you over here, for more Friday Smiles.

Have a lovely day - and weekend - keep smiling - and count your blessings. xx

  3. You have a stunning yard. If mine looked that good, I wouldn't care if there were a few dandelions. You have some gorgeous plants and what looks like a fantastic pond. Lucky you!!

  5. Isn't Spring just wonderful. You must be a bit warmer than us as some of our flowers (foxgloves) are not quite as far as yours.

PS don't cut your dandelions quite yet - they are food for our bees!

  7. What a glorious garden. I suggest leaving the grass cuttings alone, putting a chair in front of them so you can't see them, and soaking up all the beauty and sunshine!
    Thanks for the smile

  12. So glad you have a great start to your day. Beautiful photos. I too enjoyed our day very cool yet only 40...but the sun was out and I got a lot of odd things done. Covered the plants and garden again one more night of frost and then in the mid 70's next week. Enjoy a fun weekend.

  14. Lovely photos; especially the foxglove. I used to have them growing all around my gardener, but when I registered as a child-minder I had to pull them all out. I have just returned from ten days in UK and I loved all the flowers I saw there. I hope you get lots more sunny mornings to enjoy. Kate x
